Best Brighton Midfielders To Own For Double GW27
The Seagulls are one of six clubs without a match in Blank Gameweek 28, but interest in them is increasing as they approach their two Double Gameweeks in the upcoming three rounds of matches.

The top four most expensive midfielders in the Gameweek are Solly March (£5.1m), Kaoru Mitoma (both £5.4m), and Alexis Mac Allister.
The target with the highest interest is by far Mitoma, who attracted 110,000+ fans following his 13-point performance in the 4-0 victory over West Ham United on Saturday.
While this has been happening, 36,000 and 27,000 new owners, respectively, have joined Mac Allister and March.
With 14 points against the Hammers, Mac Allister led Brighton in scoring, and since the season has begun, March has scored all four of his double-figure 2022/23 Fantasy totals.
Mac Allister thriving in new role
One important consideration when evaluating the Seagulls’ midfielders is Mac Allister’s recent switch to a different position.
Under Roberto De Zerbi, the Argentinean used to play in a deep-lying position in a midfield double-pivot.
He has played the position of No. 10 since the season resumed following the World Cup, being surrounded by Mitoma and March on the left and right, respectively.
Following his victory in Qatar, Mac Allister gradually returned to action before making his debut in his new role in Gameweek 20.
Fantasy points GW20-26
Player Goals Assists Points
Mitoma 3 2 44
March 3 1 39
Mac Allister 1 1 21

Over his five games, he has only managed one goal, one assist, and 21 points.
In contrast, Mitoma and March each scored three goals, with the Japanese superstar outscoring Mac Allister by more than double the amount (44 points), thanks to his performance.
The xG data, however, paints a totally different picture.
With a score of 3.41 in terms of xG, Mac Allister is clearly the best of the trio.
Throughout that time, he contributed to just two goals, yet his expected goal involvement (xGI) is 4.03, which is more than twice that number.
On the other side, Mitoma’s statistics demonstrate that he is substantially outperforming. Although the winger has contributed to five goals, his xGI is only 2.53, or less than half of that total.
March’s three goals and one assist are more accurate representations of his 3.71 xGI.
The minutes per xGI data increase Mac Allister’s allure in the Fantasy genre.
His average of 109.7 minutes per xGI is easily the best of the three and more than 100 minutes better than Mitoma after appearing in five of Brighton’s previous six games (he was suspended for the 1-0 victory over AFC Bournemouth in GW22).
